Information Collected
During Stratus Corporate account creation and initial configuration, data is collected by the Stratus
website in order to identify our customers and connect to each customers' SharePoint and
CRM environments. The credentials collected during this configuration are used strictly for
connecting to each environment to read and write data in line with the Stratus functionality
being purchased by our customers.
Additionally, Stratus uses cookies, which are strings of text and numbers that can identify your computer
to us when you visit our site, and which may be correlated with identity information
in our log files. When you visit our site, we log standard information such as your
IP address, which is a number that can be used to identify your location and Internet
Service Provider, along with the URL from which you came to our site and the URLs
visited on our site. A URL is the full address of a Web site page, which may contain
some personal or identifying information about the person who is viewing it.
The information described above in the Section entitled "Information Collected"
is referred to collectively in this policy as "Use of Information." We use the
information collected to operate the Stratus service; providing personalized
content and integration capabilities. We may also use the information collected
to inform you of products, services and special promotions which might be of interest to you. In
addition, we may use the information collected if we need to contact you regarding the use of our
service. You may choose to stop receiving future communications from us by simply
replying to an email sent from us and request to be removed from our mailing list.
Security & Identity
This site has industry standard security measures in place to protect the loss,
misuse and alteration of the information under our control and we make good faith
efforts to store the information collected by the Stratus service in a secure
operating environment that is not available to the public. This means that when
you access our site using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology,
your information is protected using both server authentication and data encryption,
ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered users in
your organization. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your competitors.
In addition, Stratus is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and
other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. All
service credentials supplied by you in order to access the necessary SharePoint and CRM environments
are stored in a secure data store and encrypted with an
AES-256 block cipher.
Disclosure of Data
Statera may disclose your contact information and the contents of your private communications, or
your contact information if required to do so by law, or as otherwise stated in
this policy, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform
to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Stratus;
(2) protect and defend the rights or property of Statera, Inc.; or (3) act under
exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of its members or the public.
This said, Statera is strictly forbidden and prohibited from using the service
credentials you supply in a means other than needed by the Stratus Engine to perform
its funcationality for our customers.
It is possible that as we continue to develop our Web site and our business, Statera
and/or related assets might be acquired. In such a transaction, customer information
may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
Use of IP Addresses
We use your IP Address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer
our Web site and otherwise provide our service to you. IP addresses may be disclosed
to a third party if Statera believes in good faith that the law or legal
process requires it, or to protect the rights or property of EurekaWare or others.
In addition, we or our third-party advertising companies may use information derived
from your IP address, such as conducting a reverse domain name lookup, in order
to provide advertisements more tailored to your interests.
Use of Cookies
We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests, among other purposes.
For your security, passwords saved using cookies will expire when you close your
browser. You can always choose not to accept cookies through your browser's preference
options, but you may not be able to use some of our services if you do not accept
cookies.
Other Web Sites & Links
This Web site and the Stratus service contains links to other Web sites. Statera
is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.
Changes to this Policy
This policy may change from time to time. If we make any substantive changes to
the policy in the future with regard to how we use your information, we will notify
registered users who have agreed to receive the Stratus newsletter through
that newsletter. For those users who have not agreed to accept the newsletter, substantive
changes will be posted on the site in this location, and the date of the changes
will be noted on the top of this Web Page. Your continued use of the site
after the changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the changes with regard
to information collected in the past and in the future from you. If you do not agree
to the changes, you may opt-out as described above.
We may offer new services or technologies in the future that collect or use information
in different ways. We will notify you of those new data collection practices either
by revising this privacy policy when the new service launches, or through a separate
privacy statement available upon registration for the new service.
